CODE OF CONDUCT

GUIDELINE TO STUDENTS

  • Students are strictly prohibited from carrying mobile phones, iPods, or any other electronic gadgets to school. These will be confiscated if a student is found with them. The gadget will be returned to parents only after a fine of Rs. 200 is paid. Repetition of such an act will result in dismissal.
  • No student should carry cash to school.
  • Every child must wear a neatly washed and ironed uniform every day. Students who are not in proper uniform will not be allowed into school.
  • Every child must maintain personal hygiene. Nails must be clean and short. Hair must be regularly trimmed. Carrying a handkerchief is compulsory.
  • Hair must be neatly maintained. Girls must tie their hair in neat ponytails or plaits. Boys must keep their hair short.
  • Children should never cheat during exams or resort to any unfair means in competitions. Any such behavior is subject to penalization.
  • Bullying or the use of obscene language is punishable. Running or shouting in the corridor is not allowed. Offenses of this nature are considered serious, and there is zero tolerance for them.
  • All lost and found items are kept as lost property. A nominal fine is imposed when returning an item (if found) to a student for being careless.
  • The school gate closes 10 minutes before the morning prayer. Students arriving late will not be allowed to enter the school premises.
  • Pupils should always greet teachers, elders, and friends in a pleasant manner wherever they meet them.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss any pupil:
    (I) For a breach of discipline.
    (II) For unsatisfactory academic progress.
    (III) For detention or repeated detentions in class.
    (IV) If their conduct sets a bad example for others.

GUIDELINE TO PARENTS

  • Your ward should report to school on time, bring all the necessary books according to the timetable, and come in proper uniform.
  • Your ward must have 75% attendance by the end of the academic year, failing which they will not be eligible for promotion to the next class.
  • In case of any change in your address or contact numbers, notify the school office and the class teacher.
  • Your ward must not carry any expensive articles to school. If they are lost, the school will not be responsible.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet teachers while they are in class. In case of any need, a prior appointment may be sought from the school office.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours unless it is an emergency, in which case the principal’s office should be contacted.
  • Encourage your child to speak in English. Listening to English news and reading an English newspaper should be part of their routine.
  • You can meet the principal in her office on all working days. Prior appointment is advised to avoid inconvenience.
  • We always encourage communication, and your suggestions are valuable to us. Understand that school staff and parents need to work together for the benefit of all.
  • Please read the remarks made in the diary and respond accordingly. Regularly attend parent-teacher meetings and collect results personally on the day of declaration.

The above written rules are subject to further addition of some rules, amendments or deletion according to the decision description of the school management committee (SMC). It is assumed that parents/guardian has gone through the prospectus and has consented to the rules & regulations and the instructions mentioned in it.
